Location
The lodge is situated in 20 acres of prime virgin Rainforest bordering the river Nanay which flows into the river Amazon, and is located two hours upstream from the town of Iquitos in northern Peru. The lodge is actually within the boundaries of a 57,600 hectare protected National Reserve which contains a rare ecosystem of ‘white-sand’ forests giving support to a unique collection of wildlife and plants. It is the only lodge on this beautiful river and it is unique in being the only hotel to be found in any nature reserve in the whole region.
